Which version of MAPICS are you running?

If I go to AMXM38 I see 6 options:
1. Area and task authorizations
2. User authorizations
3. Data group and task authorizations
4. Generate reports
5. Work With XA User Profiles
6. Work with Client Data Connection User Profiles

I would guess the profile you are using doe not have enough MAPICS security
to add/maintain users.

1. F10 to display the Action List Panel (which does appear) but there's

This gets me to an "Add" screen but whatever I put in gets me "(E) User not
found" (even though there IS an AS/400 User profile)

I thought it might be that I have insufficient authorisation - but even
when I set myself as *SECOFR I get the same.

Can anyone tell me what's missing from this picture? Much obliged :)
