Interesting. Based on Kelly's signature, I am wondering if someone is requesting a risk assessment of XA's finance modules. :)

I second Laura's suggestion on contacting Infor. Get the details and understanding from them. Then come back here and ask for 'real-world' experience if needed, but be warned that this group is not very 'talkative'.

Something else to consider is what version of XA / Finance are you asking about. At this point in time, I do believe there are 3 'supported': AM, IFM, and Enterprise.

Here is what I know on the 3 and may not be correct....
AM is the oldest. IFM is the middle child, and Enterprise is the newest. If I remember correctly AM & IFM are totally different. Whereas some of Enterprise re-uses some of IFM's tables, but has some of its own. There is a PTF you can get from Infor that allows you to load an 'Entity Relationship List' for IFM. The PTF needed will depend on your version of XA (7 vs 9).

Thanks

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Data Structure for XA

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone could point me to a resource that lists the structure of the tables used for XA's GL, AP, and AR modules? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
