You can setup a notification event in enterprise integrator on the inventory history object. Notification can be email. This way your function is independent of database and will upgrade with future releases. No code to write.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Inventory Transaction History monitor.
Hi Group
We just moved to 9.2 from 9.1.2
And now we would like get have an Inventory Transaction History Monitor , so
that when there is a huge amount of scrap in a work center and a certain item class.
Then the system will send out a notification email to the team.
My question is: is there something like that built into XA 9.2 that I am not aware of.
Or would we have to code this?
Any advice is most welcome.
