We don't have ION running. I'd like to use System-Link but am not confident on how to develop the export, is company number the only XML change, and develop the import. How do you ensure that all the fields get loaded? Do any examples or sample code exist for exporting and importing customers?

Since Infor provided offline file loads in the older versions, I would think there should be predefined system link processes available.

The best way is to use XA System-Link Replication. You have an option to utilize ION which makes the process more robust.

this is all native to R9.1. If you have ION, then you have even more.

I have a project on my plate where I need to export a number of

have done customer loads in the past at earlier releases of XA through
spreadsheets and custom developed RPG programs. But I wanted to see
what others might suggest as an alternative/better methods at release
9.1. We have IFM and intended to keep the same entity just suspend
the company 01 customer and add a company 12 customer. I appreciate
any suggestions, recommendations, and sample code.
