Hi,

I am trying to supply a different base price from a custom file when
creating a line item in CSM. I want the pricing to work the same as if the
price had come from the normal item base price file. So, I would like the
price books to be applied, etc.

Anyone know how to accomplish this? Integrator user exit? COM user exit?

I have attempted both but don't have any detailed documentation on what
exact code needs to be applied.

Also, I am not sure if it is possible for a user to do this.

However, I know that the buydesign configurator appears to handle this
scenario. It passed back a newly configured base price to CSM which then
applies the price books, etc. It also passes back the price source code as
'Base price overridden'.

Any assistance is appreciated.
