Look into HOST Jobs, You can select item(s) from a view and run a host
job to call your program to print a report.

Also, 9.1 has a new report writer. I have not used it yet.

Does anyone have experience developing work panels or screen using
PowerLink that allow users to enter data then submit to a printer.
Specific I want to select an item number, verify a valid part in ITEM
Master, then request a report to print. I would have a pull down list
where I can select the printer out queue. Are there PowerLink tools to
do this or do I go outside of PowerLink? Help !

We are a small 2 IT person AS/400 company using Mapics XA. We are
ready to move from Rel 6 to Rel 9.1. There is an outside chance that I
may be asked by management to move from AM+ to IFM.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone with experience in converting
from AM+ to IFM.

Also, does anyone have experience using the general ledger package
called EGLI?
