BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; } I
worked on a very extensive data refresh process on R6 that copied
MAPICS data over the network from a prod AS400 to a test AS400. The
test AS400 had identical environment setup. (vs copying from one
environment to a different environment on the same machine) This
refresh process had many features to speed up the process and reduce
the disk requirements on the test box. It was complicated but it did
the job -- once or twice. Unfortunately, the complications got in the
way. Too many details to keep it working effectively without a lot of
hand-holding and upkeep. Eventually, the process was replaced with
more disk in the test environment and a full save / restore.

You can use the Update Environment option in CAS Extended
Environment support.
Thx,
Christophe.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Data Refresh from one environment to another
Has anyone ever wrote a program to do a data refresh from one
environment to another in Release 9? Looking for a way to keep our
test environment more current.
