Peter-

Can you use the GETCURRVA function (I'm not sure if that is available in r6)? If you need to get the current revision as it was in 2007 - 2008 then it shouldn't be that hard to use System I Navigator's "explain SQL" on the function to get the source then modify it with a date parameter and rename it something useful. This could then be used in your query tool if allowed or used to create the desire temporary table or view as applicable to your needs.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Item Revision: finding the latest / current revision (w/o using MAPICS current revision calculation routines)

Good morning / afternoon:

Have the need to determine the latest / current revision for the Item Rev A and also B files. However, these are files from 2007 and 2008. Our user needs to use them in query reports.

There might be a simple solution but is better to ask the question than never asking the question: what can I do to get a file with unique item revision records in a separate file?

TIA,
