You can get these great baluns that convert the twinax to twisted pair. Just do a search on twinax to twisted pair conversion. They run around $20.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] New ISeries - Old Twinax

As I started to write this, I couldn't remember how to spell twinax! That's when you know it's old!

All,

We are obtaining a new ISeries and we have a couple of great hi-speed twinax printers we'd like to retain.
Can anyone recommend some devices that go from TCP/IP to twinax?

I've done the opposite with lasers.
Thanks so much for any input!
