That is correct Infor has stopped support for FRx. We moved to Global
Software's Spreadsheet Server in 2008, users and V.P.s are very happy
with the switch and I.T. has few issues with the Global product. FRx
always required I.T. support at closing week, Global requires little or
no I.T. support. If you would like to learn more contact me offline.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] FR-x support

Hello group,

I was wondering if anybody is using FR-x for their financial reports and
if you're able to obtain INFOR support on that product?

We are in the midst of renewing our license keys and our Account rep at
INFOR claims now that the support is dropped not just by Microsoft but
by Infor itself and they are talking about some kind of replacement
product...

We've always been able to get support from INFOR for our FR-x issues
(at least until a month ago) - and this is something new for us!

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you and Regards,

Jane Ioffe
