We just started our SmartAudit yesterday and I agree that they're really pushing the limits on verifying compliance. I have no problem keeping the audit going as we haven't intentionally done anything to attempt to avoid a license. However, the SmartAudit app is a little too intrusive for my tastes. I'd much rather let Infor sign on our system and poke around to their heart's content to tell us whether we're in compliance versus running their audit software 24/7 for six weeks.

I guess what I'm saying is "Is it reasonable to run a very sophisticated software program written to check every nuance of a license agreement to check for compliance?" I believe we are in compliance, and I believe our affiliate does, and I believe Infor does (otherwise they would have told us about it). But they're taking it much farther with their audit.

I was assured that their Smartaudit does NOT write to or otherwise
update your production systems.
This is written on page 2 of their install instructions. I was also
told that on the phone.

We started their audit yesterday and on this morning's SOX report we see
they put a file call AUDITTB into library QGPL.

Now I have to do all of the $#@%^&*ing SOX paperwork to justify that
being there including getting 6 signatures!!
Also this paperwork is supposed to be done BEFORE things get loaded....
dates will be after the fact now.

Not happy,
Greg
