Subject: [MAPICS-L] Browser User Exit

The extension file is the iSeries table that holds additional business data.

There are three user exit programs you must activate: the so-called K, M and
O programs. The K and M programs don't need any adjustment: just generate
them and activate the calls. The O program is the actual update program, and
it may not need any adjustment either. But if you want to do something other
than just update the extension file, you can put the RPG code in the O
program.

Then there are the two programs that will probably require custom code: the
Q program for calculating default values, and the N program for performing
edits.

My guess is that this is new and probably confusing. Feel free to call me
offline and I can explain more.
