How are people capturing machine tear down time?

We were capturing it on setups after the run portion was being done. This doesn't allow us to complete the operation while doing the ON/OF Setup transaction.

If we need to, we can stay on run to do this, but I don't really want to reduce my run rate because of this time. Also, because the tear down time is independent of quantity I want to be able to plan for it as I can with the setup time.

Any hints or ideas will be very appreciated. Thanks.
