Ken,

We did this at my prior employer, but we had to develop it in RPG since we had to compare against both blanket and standard PO detail line items - as you have noticed. It wasn't too difficult to do, but we did it as a weekly batch process.

I have to ask, are you the Ken Pilotte that used to work at Allen-Sherman-Hoff in Malvern, PA?

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Supplier Performance Query

I need to develop a report of supplier performance in MAPICS using SQL
statement embedded in a VBA macro to return the results to an Excel
spreadsheet. The code is currently returning results from table IMHIST
based on a date range entered, but I dont see an accurate way to compare
date received (TRNDT) vs. promised due date for the item entered on the PO
(IMHIST includes field ODUDT but this is not the date I want to measure
against - a PO may be a blanket order with many scheduled releases). How
can the actual promise date for an item on a PO be linked to the
associated transaction in IMHIST? Thanks!
