Nick,
It could be a number of things. Here are some of the things that I do with custom programs that you may to look at:
1) The program objects should be owned by AMAPICS with user profile as *GRPPRF.
2) On the submit job command string, you may want to use the AMJOBD job description.
Eric>> > To> mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc> > Subject> [MAPICS-L] Probs w/CPF4104 when calling pgm from Group Job Menu> Hi everyone,> > I have a program called from and AS/400 defined menu, which the menu is > called from CL Program that the user accesses through the MAPICS Group Job > > Menu System. The program is then submitted to the JOBQ. When the program > > starts running from the JOBQ, I get a CPF4104 error message on the ITEMASA > > file. The file is described as an Input only file in the program. The > User has full authority to the file through MAPICS. He is our Purchasing > > Agent, and is authorized to do all functions to the file (add, update, > delete Item records). The program is 13 years old, and I just found out > has never worked correctly. Does anyone know what I should look for > regarding the authority?>
