Environment: Infor Mapics DB/Y2K (Mod4); one (1) company in Infor Mapics with several manufacturing warehouses located in different cities

Hi group:

When we run the Material Picking List for a particular Manufacturing Order Number, it's BOM shows all Item Numbers coming from the same Warehouse Number as that of the Parent's Item Number.

Is there a way, other than by manually editing the BOM in AMI915, of having Item Numbers listed from several different Warehouses?

For example, End Item No. XXXX1000 has it's final assembly in our WH 02; but it has manufactured components in its BOM that are built in our WH 01.

If we run a stock AMI915 for the End Item in WH 02, it shows all the BOM components associated with WH 02.

We want the system to let us assign certain of the BOM components to our WH 01.

Some questions:

1. Is this something that is offered in Infor Mapics XA?

2. Is there a workaround that might be good for Infor Mapics DB/Y2K?

I welcome all your suggestions and comments.
