Never assume code is applied between releases. Since R3 it has been a
consistent problem that if a problem is fixed in one release it does not
necessarily mean it is fixed in a different release unless:

1. There are open problems for all affected releases
2. The programmer is on his/her toes and has had enough caffine, sugar, fat
and love that they feel energetic enough to go the extra mile and get it all
fixed.

If I recall right they even have a in house term for it. I can't remember
it exactly but its something like "cross release fix.

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Keeping R6 up-to-date with R7

To the list,
Isn't release 6 "green-screen" code basically the same for release 7
"green-screen" code? Has anyone found an inconsistency of PTF fixes that
have been resolved in R7 but not R6 - I have.

Eric
