From my experience - the only way a vendor gets any say is if you pay the "Ihave a solution for you" fee - and that is not a cheap fee. If it is a competing product, you can forget about even getting near the front door. The only way a customer gets any say is if they are a Fortune 500 size company. And, if you are going to sell an add-on product, you should probably know how the primary product is spelled (and pronounced).
