Mapics works best with a STD Cost system implementation. Then One takes the PPV and Mfg Variance, Inventory and COS are valued at STD.

Let me know if you'd like to explore the implementation of STD Cost off line.

I cannot explain all of the implications via email...but I do have a 3 day costing in mapics class.
