I agree with Jeff....

Sorry if the following sounds harsh...

If you think you are having pain with IFM, you better strap in, get a
couple hundred cases of Ibuprofen and lots of alcohol because you have
not seen anything yet.

Three words: don't do it.

It WILL NOT improve your business execution, the project itself will
take focus away from your customers, the results will not make life
easier, you will lose employees over it and the project will burn cash
at a phenomenal rate.

Don't say you weren't warned...

Iain,

As a quick FYI: it's not just the G/L interfaces COM, IM, PCC to IFM's
G/L that'll become an issue, but
A/P's 3-way match to the PO ... (will the PO still be in Mapics ?)
How will COM invoicing update the new A/R ?
Will I be able to view the A/P from the PO like I can now in P.M.
browser ? same with Invoicing from CSM browser.

Tons of interfacing issues.... just a heads up....

There are consolidation pkg, and PC based Pkgs that can sit on top of
IFM for data retrieval and reporting.

I'd go back and ask exactly what the displeasure is ? and see if it can
be resolved with out throwing out the base data repository....
(i.e. baby with the bathwater :> )

just my 2 cents, for what it's worth
