Trdata is part of PMC. We wrote many of our own programs that utilize
trdata for many different things. I don't know if there is any
documentation on using trdata. It has been a long time since we started
using it, but I think I used PMC, Maintain Transactions & then pressed F2
to create an inventory transaction. This showed me what/how the fields in
trdata were populated for that transaction, then I just cloned my program
to match.
I have checked all the fields being populated in the 'OFF*' file. They
are all correct. But, there are no fields for the QC1 and QC2 indicators,
like in the TRDATA file.
I have never used the TRDATA file for offline. It looks like this file
could be used for just about any/all of MAPICS Applications. Could you
point me in the direction on how this file works, what programs run it,
etc...
Thanx,
Nick

We don't use the offline file to create inventory transactions, we just
populate TRDATA records. So I probably wont be much help. Whenever we
have noticed behavior that is different than when using the green-screens
it has always been due to us not populating a field or populating it
incorrectly. I would check that all the fields are populated correctly.
