no problem, but I am at the user level, not the IT level.
As I consult, I give the USERS this address to try to solve their problems.
most do not know what an AS400 looks like or what an integrator is or does.
a couple of years ago when i stumbled upon this site, the communication was
for the day to day user issues, not IT gurus.
The only reason for the manure comment is that I will stop giving this email
address to inventory managers, purchasing managers, operations managers,
plant managers, planners, materials managers, AR/AP/GL personnel etc.
....because all I have gotten lately as feedback is how do I un enroll from this
site,...it does nothing for the worker in the past fews months, only for the IT/IS
guy/gal in the upstairs room.,
so goes another useful tool to the people who really give IT people a job,
the USER.
I will now un enroll from this, my primary address, and let the spam go to a
secondary email and stop giving my clients prime assets, the button pushers,
this once user helpful tool. I will just bootleg the R5.5 thru R7USER guide
disks and let them search for any answer there.
adios from a guy doing R7 EPDM/IFM implementations in 4 south american
countries @ the USER level, no onsite AS400, no intergrator, no IT/IS managers.
thanks for the memories
