COM user exits for shipping -- MAPICS-L

In COM, would the user exit Process shipment itmes (UMBSHP8R) run after
maintenance is done in the screens, Maintain shipment by Order (AMBEIDFR),
Maintain shipments by shipment (AMBJMDFR)?

I am currently using Process shipment (UMBSHP6R) but it does not seem to run
when I update or delete a shipment after it is initially entered. Any thoughts?
