Sorry, I misstated what we do, here's the updated version. We handle it two ways, for outside heat treat it is TBC 'C', but for internal heat treat we use TBC 'H'. In the shop the operator clocks on, then off when starting. When the process is finished, the operator clocks on, then off (complete). We have a value in the Std Run Machine, but not in the Std Run Labor. After all MRP needs something to plan around. PMC won't show the on time total, but is it really necessary? The Start Date, and complete xaction will give you touch time (processing time). We do something similar with transactions for receiving insp as well. Currently we do heat treatment of our parts in a oven that lasts for 7 days. If we JOB ON (We are using Paperless for the shop floor interface) to the bake operation and the parts are in the oven, the next day when we go to do the Select and Edit Tranactions process in PMC, we get a JOB OFF missing error on the report. I understand from Mapics support, PMC can only handle labor or machine time of less then 24 hours for a given Selection period. So I guess my question is: how do you account for machine time that is greater then 24 hours?
