Greg, you COULD modify the screen source. I actually have done that on a VERY basic screen - pre-loaded whse 1 into an MRP inquiry screen that required the user to enter the item# and the warehouse. They do it many, many times a day, and after thinking about it, I figured the screen would most likely never be changed - it's too basic. So I changed it and put the object in a library in front of AMALIB. I'm a HUGE opponent of changing MAPICS, but in this case I did make an exception. And it hasn't bitten me yet - and it's been in effect for many years. Of course, if you used Browser, you could avoid that and load a default value....... that's your BEST solution!
