The main memory should be recognized automatically.
Do a WRKSHRPOOL to verify the new memory is recognized.

Disk drives need to be added to the correct ASP.
I don't know what version of the OS you're working with but the 
information can be found in Ch 19 of the "Backup and Recovery" guide:
