You could check it with the order user exits, but that's after the fact. We have the same problem, decided to not worry about it, but it has bitten us from time to time. We started suffixing the customer PO with a space and the phone rep's initials. That handled our internal situations. Interestingly, it's not been a problem with COM_Net orders, for some reason - and that's about 70% of our orders nowadays. And the customers use the same PO# there also.
