  If you SETLL on MBAWRES6 (which is in descending sequence) then add 1, you
  will get the next sequence number.  Make sure that you write the record
  right away -or- run the program during off hours.

  Also, don't forget to write records to MBA2CPP. This file contains the
  reports (if you want the comments to print on any reports/documents) also
needs to be populated.
  I can send you some sample code if you want.  I have been using these
  programs to auto-populate shipments with export comments and other custom
  stuff for a number of years.  Depending on the version of OS, you may have
  to re-write some of the code.
