Steve We have been working on this for about a year. Inovis receives the 830's and EC puts the schedule in as demand. It places the qtys and due dates exactly as the customer has requested. The most difficult part has been working with our inside sales group and the production schedulers. They have had to change their process to enable the 830's to go into the system without intervention. We are still learning! We are at Release 7 PTF 5132 and use Inovis Trusted Link, EC, MRP, and AVP (no MPSP) modules and would like to automate the updating of customer planning schedules (830 EDI transactions) so we do not have to manually enter them. How successful has the automation been and how long did it take? Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations on how to automate the 830's I receive from my customers.
