Hello David,
You can't use the interactive debugger STRISDB, as far as I
know...here's how I do it:
Compile the source code into a library that's above your AMALIB - make
sure you specify *srcdbg in source listing options (do this in your
MAPICS environment, make sure AMXLIB is last in your library list).
Type strdbg on the command line; F4 to prompt:
Type choices, press Enter.
Program . . . . . . . . . . . . xxxxxxxx Name, *NONE
Library . . . . . . . . . . . *libl Name, *LIBL, *CURLIB
+ for more values
Default program . . . . . . . . *PGM Name, *PGM, *NONE
Maximum trace statements . . . . 200 Number
Trace full . . . . . . . . . . . *STOPTRC *STOPTRC, *WRAP
Update production files . . . . *YES *NO, *YES
OPM source level debug . . . . . *YES *NO, *YES
Service program . . . . . . . . *NONE Name, *NONE
Library . . . . . . . . . . . Name, *LIBL, *CURLIB

<enter>
This will bring up the src -- page down until you get to the point you
want
Take F12
Take F10
dspmodsrc
set break point F6, F12, F12 Look at the bottom to see your options
When finished, type enddbg <enter>
Hope this helps...
Thank you,

Subject: [MAPICS-L] Debugging MAPICS Vintage code
Does anyone know how to use the interactive debugger on a MAPICS RPG
program? I have tried STRISDB prior to calling the MAPICS routine and
modifying the CLP program calling the MAPICS RPG program to include the
STRISDB program. The problem I am having is getting the LDA information
to come across correctly.
TIA,
David Lauderdale
