I think the check recon file is keyed by bank number
as well as check number. If you setup a new bank
number it should allow you to start at 1. Take a
look.

Jim,

Good idea but too late. Checks have already been
printed starting at
1.
We are in the process of reconciling and archiving a
range of checks so
there won't be any duplicates. I think this task
will not be too hard.

Thanks for the suggestion
Greg

To prevent ANY problems, why don't you just start
with ck# 55001?

Just a suggestion.

Jim
