One possible solution is to set a user field in the Item Master to flag the item as 'No book allowed', then develop a user exit in COM (UMBCOD1R or UMBCOD4R) to validate the item number, basically just 'Chain to ITEMASA' and compare the user field and send an error message to the user. Note: if you are using CSM then the user exits will be UXPCD*. Antonio Rojas IT Manager - Senior Aerospace SSP (818) 260-2218. We have new products in development that we want to forecast, but don't want sales to book them and promise them. Lloyd H. Degnon I.S.
