To be more specific, the primary item processes for each specific item revision
must span the entire date range. Alternate processes can be for a smaller date
range and are not considered when validating the entire date range.

Can you explain what reason or logic you used for changing the item process
dates? Did the MPSP problem occur shortly after your change?

Subject: [MAPICS-L] MPSP Problem

A few days ago we started getting an error during MPS Planning Run
Generation. It is an invalid array index in program AML44 at statement
1882. We are running XAR6 at PCM level 7412. We programmatically
changed the effective to date of several items in the item process file,
ITMPRC. MAPICS just told us that item process ranges must encompass the
entire date range of 0400101 to 9999999. We have validated that all
item processes span this date range but are still getting the error.

Has anyone encountered this problem before and if so what was the
remedy? As always thanks in advance for your help.

Doug
