We run XA on multiple LPAR's on one AS/400 model 520-0903. Our XA concurrent user license manages users across all LPARs on that CPU. CISTECH, Inc. Our XA license is a 200 concurrent user. We are considering an upgrade to our system that would allow us to create LPAR's. We are also considering moving our test environment to a second LPAR. So my question is would we need to have a second license to run a test environment in a different LPAR? A second question would be if we have a second LPAR but don't run XA in it is there still any licensing concerns?
