Thanx Steve, That is exactly what I did today. Just changed my form layout and DDS a little bit. The Invoice actually looks better now than before. I cleaned up a lot of junk that wasn't printing right also. I was hoping it was just a setting, or something like that, that I would have to change. Theoretically, we should just have to change a setting or 2. But, no luck. Thanx, Nick Nick Radich Sr. Programmer/Analyst EPC Molding, Inc. I will try to explain what is happening, but I was a bit confused on it when explained to me. We were printing to an IPDS printer & it was working fine, then we replaced it with the IBM 21 printer you have, we did not purchase with the IPDS module. When you print to IPDS, it just prints whatever it gets in the stream, but when you print as AFPDS, if it finds something it cant print it skips it & continues. We could even convert the spoolfile to an email as a PDF & it would print fine from a PDF. I fought with trying to get it to move for about a day & contacted one of our vendors. They explained what was happening in the print stream. We finally just redesigned our form a bit & even moved a couple lines in the print file to get it to lign-up perfectly. Sorry I can't give you a quick fix. We recently changed printers in our Finance Office from an HP LaserJet 2100 and replaced it with an IBM InfoPrint 21. We have an EXCEL spreadsheet that we use for our form for Invoices. I have changed the spreadsheet to remove 1 line in the body of it. I then printed it to an AFP 300 virtual printer, with Medium Overlay checked in the Properties. I then put the '.PRN' file into my QDLS folder. After that I did a CPYFRMPCD from my QDLS Folder into a file on my AS/400. I used a record length of 32766, and also tried with a record length of 8201. I then created my Overlay. When I print my Invoice, the overlay is 2 spaces too far to the right. It used to be centered. I tried using an AFP 240 and 600 Virtual Printer, but I get an error message during the creation of the Overlay on the 400, CPD88C0 with a code of 02. I have tried changing the spreadsheet to print CENTER, but that made it worse. Also, the spreadsheet starts in Column A, so I can't just remove a couple of columns on the left. Any thoughts on how I can get the dumb thing centered again. Thanx, Nick Nick Radich Sr. Programmer/Analyst EPC Molding, Inc.
