Michael, We run a program that does a variation of what you described. But we start with raw material and determine what can be made from it and the current demands for it. In your design I would caution you on 2 things. Some of the components needed to build ITEMA may also be used in ITEMB,C,...,Z. So to get a complete picture for the demand of a component and its raw material you would have to run all of the items and add up the demand. Also using sales history to predict future demand is not always accurate. Perhaps query the open order files to get current demand in a request date range. Greg
