This is precisely what I am doing, Host print to Email. My default mailer is a client on the Desktop. Lloyd H. Degnon I.S. We are using Lotus Notes, and sending the report via email does not work, but clicking on the Email Icon in a card that has an email address field, properly invokes the Notes Client and addresses the Email accordingly. If we set up an Outlook client, it works just fine. The team (formerly from Paragon) is working on my issue, although yours sound a bit different... Lloyd H. Degnon I.S. Lots of new features which are great except the new Host Print Output option to email the report (PO, Report whatever) fails to send the email. All we get is a message that says "Email of host report attachment has failed...Make sure that the email function is set up on your iSeries properly and that it is functioning properly..." Infor support has told me that if email is properly setup it should work and that if we can send an email using the SNDDST command it should work. We have been using that command for years to successfully send our own emails from the iSeries so I am fairly confident it is set up properly. We use it to send out dozens of emails to hundreds a day. Infor support has offered no further help on this so I was wondering if anyone else has any suggestions.
