Add a line of code to the program that is being called, like AMI3K, before the *entry plist call a CL program that will do a chgjob runpty(xx) whatever he wants to set the priority to be. So ami3k it will look like this: C* C CALL 'CHGPTY' C* C *ENTRY PLIST C PARM ULDA The cl program to change the priority, Chgpty in this case, will look like this: PGM CHGJOB RUNPTY(xx) ENDPGM Steve Jones "Peter Vidal" <Peter_Vidal@xxxxxxxx> Sent by: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 10/25/2005 12:07 PM Please respond to MAPICS ERP System Discussion <mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject [MAPICS-L] UJOBS Processing is "too high" Hi list! I was talking to a friend of mine this morning and he shared to me some problems with his unattached jobs. This is causing him trouble to process TRDATA records faster. The job priority for those is 50 and MAPICS Support is telling him to: 1. Use CAS/maintenance change/unattached jobs and write down the job name and number of the pMC UJOBS - pressing a 5 besides the ujob shows you the detail. 2. Use the CHGJOB command by typing in CHGJOB and then press F4 and then press F20 - fill in the job name and number and press enter - that changes the run priority. This feature is automated at XAR6 but they are at R5 and they do not want to do this every day (additionally, they do not have plans yet to upgrade.) Is there a potential solution for this until they get to R6?
