Actually I am rather curious as to what other people are using for this type of system, my company is also embarking on this same project. Presently we are looking at using an extensive 802.11b network, touch screen PCs mounted on forklifts with bluetooth barcode scanners (we use batch lot numbering and print them out as barcodes and affix to the product) with custom software to post the MAPICS transactions. However we are starting on the receiving end instead of shipping. -Jimmy -----Original Message----- From: mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:mapics-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Graham, Demetrius A (GE Trans, Unison) Sent: Tuesday, February 22, 2005 12:42 PM To: 'mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx' Cc: Graham, Demetrius A (GE Trans, Unison) Subject: RF Technology We are looking at using RF technology in our warehouses for picking. Does anyone have a list of companies using RF interfacing to Mapics? _______________________________________________ This is the MAPICS ERP System Discussion (MAPICS-L) mailing list To post a message email: MAPICS-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/mapics-l or email: MAPICS-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/mapics-l.
