As a side note, under release 6.0, when auto releasing PO's, the purchase
activity file is not properly populated -- this issue is under APAR 74732
and it has not been resolve yet.

Suresh,

This is all explained in the purchasing and MRP manuals.  The funcition can
be setup to run automatically or can be run manually after the MRP
grneration.
