I pasted your subject "Auto-Release of Purchase Orders" into MAPICS's No Wait Response System" and got a lot of good hits that may help you move forward without reading the tomes called MAPICS manuals. We don't use Auto-Release here, one of those situations where Mfg/Purch says "we tried that back in 1957 and it didn't work!" Good Luck!
