Kevin (and all),

It appears that MAPICS fixed a problem with the report override options in
the last CUM. It was an actual fix of something that was not working
right. Naturally (for me), fixing something that wasn't working right in
the first place made something that I had done incorrectly all along (but
that was working right for me anyway), messed me up. Sooooo, if you had
all your printer override options set up correctly in the first place
(which also would have worked), this won't be a problem for you.

Sigh. No wonder I sometimes drink. To anyone from MAPICS reading this -
my bad! Apologies.

Still working on the CSM issue.

Dale,

What the heck is going no with MAPICS? At first I thought "Is this what we
get when they offshore PTF support!?" But then I realized the CSM is done
here by a group that knows what its doing. I wonder if MAPICS has also
offshored integration testing?

If MAPICS PTF support gets as bad as Oracle or JD Edwards, we are really
going to be up a creek without a paddle.

Thanks for the warning!

Subject: Warning on SH15127, PTF 6717 for XAR6

Hello all,

I installed XA/R6 CUM SH15127, PTF 6717 on Sunday, have encountered
numerous problems. Be warned!

To date:
Shop packet printing doesn't use printer overrides properly. Annoying but
not critical (yet).
CSM Order Entry getting errors on item adds. Very inconvenient - must
write up orders and enter through COM.

May be more - I'll keep you posted.
