The amount of testing is affected by many factors such as industry, regulation requirements, etc. However, the minimum testing should include the testing of key functions throughout the processes affecting your active MAPICS modules. Some examples are: Forecast (Demand) and Customer Orders Engineering Functions (EPDM/PDM) Procurement (Purchasing) Planning (MPS/MRP) Shipments and Sales (Picking/Shipping/Billing) etc. The ideal testing should follow an order from entry to end, a product from engineering to production, the financials, and month end process.
