Hi list!

We have this consistent situation between the marriage of Purchasing and
IFM. If you complete and purge an order, it is moved then to history. The
problem is that IFM will not be able to see it. If this PO has not been
paid yet, we are dead. We have to leave the purchase order in the regular
open files because IMHIST will be affected, inquiry screens in IFM will be
affected.... etc.

MEN, this does not have sense to us in IT and our user community.
Normally, what I want to see happening is that as soon as I fully pay a
purchase order, I want to be able to purge it a move it to history and
still be able to see on inquiry screens and IMHIST ALL the data related to
that PO: RD, RP, PQ, RI, CA, etc...

Maybe I do not have all the factor, maybe I do not know the application
yet to say that this can be done and this can't... I checked in the MAPICS
support website but I did not found a definite answer to my question in
the knowledgebase...

Can somebody illustrate me on this matter? I will really appreciate your
opinions about it.
