John, The documents on the web site are very weak. IT managers are panicking (not just MAPICS IT managers) because some of the consulting firms are defining the act as requiring automated data change/access reporting. Someone at MAPICS should be addressing the data access issues. Also, for your information, the Teleconference on SOX compliance was worthless for anyone who already uses security, and relies on too much custom code work to get the job done. If the software is advertised to be the solution for SOX 404, then it should meet all of the requirements. Some general information is available on the MAPICS website (http://www.mapics.com/soa/soalinks.asp). I suggest you start there. If you're looking for information on solving a specific problem, please let me know and I'll see what I can do about finding the answer for you. I got my copy. It is very good but it concentrates mostly on security. It would be great to have something similar for financials. Hey MAPICS! More please!
