Re: packing list

We have done this a lot.  You will have to modify the print file to tell it
you want to print it as a barcode.  Depending on what your requirements
are, is what you will change.  We always print Code 3 of 9 and print the
human readable data as well.  Below is an example of the print file DDS of
the picklist showing the Customer Order number barcoded, print file name is
AMBFDPFP.


  * Quote/Order number
 A  99N99     ZCAA9V         9        19TEXT('Quote/Order number DR
 A            CNCVNB         7        19
 A                                      BARCODE(CODE3OF9 4)

It doesn't lineup real well but you can where we added the barcode keyword.
Then when you compile the DDS you have to specify a device type of *IPDS or
*AFPDS depending on the printer you will be printing them on.

We have a request to bar code our packing list.  Has anybody done this
or know how to do this.  Thanks.
