We are coming from V4R3, 9402 Model 400. First problem, the used tape drive we purchased to get the data off the old box was not functional once installed on the old box. Second attempt we had problems with our older version of MDCC. We are running V6.5.4 and were told it would run just fine on the I5. It connected to the I5 just fine and worked great on the client side, but the actual MDCC program errored out with a data exception when the data was passed to the I5. The actual OS upgrade went great and boy is it fast! -----Original Message----- From: jleroi@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:jleroi@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, October 25, 2004 5:00 PM To: mapics-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: This Thursday We are negotiating price for a new i5. What kinds of problems are you having? Are they release related to the OS? Our last model upgrade was very smooth. Only complaint was things went too fast!
