Nick,

There are two ways to not allow orders to be placed for an item. You can
suspend the item balance or you can use the "Implementation Status" code in
the EPDM Item Revision master to control what kind of orders that can be
opened for an item.

Subject: Suspending items from Order entry

Hello,

We have a need to not allow our Customer Service people enter in certain
items for Customer Orders.

I saw in the archives that someone says that I can do this by 'suspending
the Item Balance'. It sounds like it will not allow any Cutomer Orders for
this item. This is exactly what I want.

Does anyone know what this means, and how I can do it?

Thanx,
