In a word - no. MAPICS doesn't send messages to QSYSOPR by message ID, unless they've changed it recently. They retrieve the first-level text for the message from the message file and send that as a text message to the queue, then send a second text message requesting the reply. The only successful way I've ever seen to auto-respond to MAPICS messages in QSYSOPR is to have a program that 'reads' each message from the queue and then replies appropriately. They chose this approach when they ported MAPICS I to the S/38 25 years ago and have never changed it. It's frustrated me more than once.
