Bob, Welcome to the MAPICS board. I think I have your answer for you. The Data Defaults under COM were set up differently between these two users. You can navigate to the Data Defaults function by keying AMBM68 on the command line (within your environment). Select option 4 from the menu, find the user id for the two users and enter a 2 to change their defaults. If you don't know what should go in the field, use option 4 to see what the options are or F1 for help. The picking and shipping options are on the second screen but you have to hit Enter to advance to it. Let me know if you have any problems using this function and I'll be glad to try to help. I have 2 users in COM When 1 picks option 5 Process Items Ready for Packing/Shipping it takes them to screen AMBJCPVR Select Items to Pack/Ship. When the other user selects the same option 5 they get sent to screen AMBNODFR Process Items. Is this a security problem and if so how do I change it for them. If not does anyone have any clues. I have never had any formal training on MAPICS just what I read in the docs.
